Every calculator on this site is free to use, with no account and no paywall. That is paid for by display advertising rather than by charging visitors.

Current ad network

This site does not currently display any ads. Ad space is reserved in the layout ahead of time so that turning ads on does not shift any content, but no ad network is active yet.

What advertising does not affect

Advertising has no influence on any number a calculator produces. Area results, unit conversions, and the GLA classification rules come from a fixed calculation library, not from anything configurable by an advertiser. The material price ranges shown on the material calculator pages are general ballpark estimates — see the methodology page — and are not paid placements or affiliate pricing for any specific brand or retailer.

How ads are labelled

Advertising space is visually and structurally separate from the calculators and written content on every page, so it should always be clear what is an ad and what is the site's own content.
